How soon after the builders finish should I book the clean?+
We recommend waiting at least 24 to 48 hours after all construction, sanding, and painting has completely finished. This allows airborne dust to settle before we come in and remove it.
What should I expect from a post-renovation clean?+
Expect a highly detailed, intensive process. We aren't just wiping benches; we are extracting microscopic dust from tracks, removing stickers from glass, gently scraping paint splatters, and polishing new fixtures. It takes significantly longer than a standard deep clean.
How long does a post-renovation clean take?+
It is a slow, meticulous process. Depending on the size of the renovation, it can take a team of cleaners anywhere from 6 hours to a full day or more.
Do you handle asbestos removal?+
No. If your older Canberra home has undergone renovations and asbestos is suspected or present, you MUST use a licensed asbestos removalist. We cannot clean properties where unsealed asbestos dust is present.
Can you get paint splatters off my new floorboards?+
Yes, we use safe, specialised scrapers and gentle solvents to remove stray paint, plaster drops, and adhesives without scratching your new flooring or tiles.
Will one clean get rid of all the dust?+
Our multi-stage process removes the vast majority of the dust. However, because fine dust can remain airborne and circulate through HVAC systems, you may notice a very light dusting settle a few days later. This is normal and easily managed with a regular maintenance clean.
Do you remove construction rubbish?+
We remove minor debris (wrappers, offcuts, tape), but we are not a rubbish removal service. Heavy materials, timber, masonry, and large quantities of builder's waste must be removed via skip bin prior to our arrival.
